Dr Francisco Vedreño SantosThe Trussed Rafter Association's online learning course.
Working closely with Edinburgh Napier University, the Trussed Rafter Association has developed an on-line training facility for design professionals in the industry. To gain full access to the course, please contact the TRA www.tra.org.uk
The course is for people who are training to be trussed rafter designers and people who are currently employed as trussed rafter designers and want to refresh their knowledge.
The course is intended to be a stand alone on-line course. However, we recommend you identify an in-company mentor with experience in trussed rafter design, or timber engineering, prior to embarking on the course.
A TRA grade certificate will be issued based on completion of the final online test.
The Northern European Network for Wood Science and Engineering started in 2004. After 19 successful meetings in 10 different partner countries, WSE has become a well-established platform for researchers from various fields of wood science and engineering. This network is supported by SNS Nordic Forest Research funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers. We look forward to welcoming you to Edinburgh for 20th meeting of the WSE in Autumn 2024!
